The Emir of Dutse, Jigawa, Alhaji Nuhu Sunusi, has called on Nigerians to fear God in their activities and live in accordance with the teachings of Prophet Muhammad.

The emir stated this in a speech during a Durbar to mark his 20th anniversary on throne on Saturday in Dutse.
The traditional ruler also urged the people to be fair, just and obey their leaders and respect the constituted authority.
The emir called on them to seek Islamic and western education while parents should ensure good upbringing of their children.
Sunusi advised parents to ensure that they enroll their children in school.
“As husbands, you must take good care of your wives and feed your families well,’’ Sanusi said.
The emir admonished his subjects to relate and live peacefully with one another, including other ethnic groups residing in his domain and the state in general.
He thanked the state government including the military, police and other security operatives for their support and contribution to ensure the smooth celebration of the anniversary of his throne.
Sunusi, therefore, pledged his continued support and cooperation to the state government in order for it to achieve its desired goals for the people.
Dignitaries present at the occasion were the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar III, Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji Rilwanu Sulaiman.
Others were the Emir of Zazzau Suleja, Alhaji Auwal Ibrahim, the Lamido of Adamawa, Alhaji Muhammad Barkindo and Shehu of Borno, Alhaji Abubakar Ibn Garbai.
